-Overall Morningstar ratings
Funds receive a rating on a 3, 5 and 10 year basis, based on the risk/ return ratio; the weighting of these 3 ratings results in the global ranking “Overall”.
If the fund makes it to the best 10% of its category, 5 stars are awarded; the following 22.5% receive 4 stars, and so on.
The percentile matches to a rating on 100 base (ex: fund rated 24 on 200 will have a percentile of 12%).
